Vivek Pandey awarded his first research grant

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Vivek Pandey has been awarded his first research grant from the esteemed Saha Foundation Fund for the Study of Food and Cardiovascular Health. Nirmal Verma to present at the International Stroke Conference 2025

Dr. Nirmal Verma, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in Dr. Florin Despa's lab will present in Los Angeles, California at the International Stroke Conference (ISC) 2025. The American Heart Association's ISC is the largest conference of its kind, focusing on cerebrovascular disease and brain health. Dr. Verma's presentation will focus on the potential role of diabetes-associated hyperamylinemia in stroke.

Noah Leibold to present at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory

Mr. Noah Leibold's abstract was accepted to Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory's conference, "Neurodegenerative Diseases: Biology & Therapeutics" which will take place at the Cold Spring Harbor campus near New York City, New York. Noah will present his work on the interaction between two important proteins in Alzheimer's pathophysiology, apoE and amylin.
