We are pleased to announce that Dr. Vivek Pandey has been awarded his first research grant from the esteemed Saha Foundation Fund for the Study of Food and Cardiovascular Health. This grant will support his research on the potential cardioprotective effects of phlorizin, a natural sodium-glucose co-transporter 1 (SGLT1) inhibitor found in apples. Dr. Pandey's study aims to explore the therapeutic benefits of phlorizin in mitigating diabetic heart failure, providing new insights into nutritional and pharmacological interventions for cardiovascular health in diabetes.

Stay tuned for updates on this exciting research!
