Florin Despa presents at Duke University & University of Kentucky Grand Rounds

This year, Dr. Florin Despa, Ph.D., has presented twice to medical residents in Grand Rounds presentations.

Dr. Despa presented locally at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine Pathology Grand Rounds on January 20th, 2023. His presentation was entitled "Systemic inflammation and impairment of cerebral Aβ clearance provoked by pancreatic amyloid-forming amylin."

Dr. Despa then presented at the Endocrinology Grand Rounds at Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. His talk, presented on April 28th, 2023 was entitled "Reduced cerebral Aβ clearance induced by pancreatic amylin."
