Noah grew up in Erie, PA, and then attended the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH where he graduated with a B.S. in Pre-Medicine & Psychology, and a minor in Medical Humanities/Ethics. His undergraduate research was interested in the processes of cellular biomineralization in the Eastern oyster under Dr. Karolyn Hansen. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Pharmacology in the lab of Dr. Florin Despa. Noah's research in the Despa Lab focuses on the interplay between pancreatic amyloid-forming amylin, APOE, and microvascular dysfunction. He is also involved in therapeutic repurposing as well as therapeutic and assay design in the lab. Outside of the lab, Noah is an active member of a running club; he also enjoys watching movies and reading non-fiction books.
